About the event
An interactive workshop on PeaceTech — the use of technology in fragile and conflict-affected settings. Participants first hear from practitioners about what helps and what harms, then work in teams (government, civil society, a social platform, an international mission, a populist movement) to handle an unfolding crisis in the fictional country of Westhaven after an earthquake, using satellite imagery, emergency SMS, community radio and AI.
